CFP Systems LLC d/b/a Consumer Relief Center ("CRC," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website consumerreliefcenter.org and provides consumer advocacy services related to contract analysis and resolution. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website or services.
Information you provide directly: When you submit a case review form, contact us by phone or email, or engage our services, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, contract details, resort or developer information, financial information related to your ownership obligations (maintenance fees, assessments, property taxes, mortgage status), and any documents you provide for case analysis.
Information collected automatically: When you visit our website, we may collect your IP address, browser type and version, pages visited and time spent, referring website, and device information. We do not use marketing cookies or third-party advertising trackers. Any cookies used are strictly functional (required for the website to operate properly).
We use your information to evaluate your ownership situation and determine case eligibility, facilitate attorney-led contract analysis, communicate with you about your case status and next steps, respond to your inquiries, improve our website and services, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We may share your information with licensed attorneys and law firms partnered with CRC for the purpose of case evaluation and legal representation, title companies and legal document preparers for preparation and recording of closing documents, service providers who assist in operating our website and business (subject to confidentiality agreements), and law enforcement or regulatory bodies when required by law. In the event your case is referred directly to a partner attorney, your information is shared only to the extent necessary for legal evaluation and representation. Attorney-client privilege applies to all communications with your assigned attorney in instances of direct engagement via a separate written agreement.
For active clients, we retain case-related information for the duration of your engagement and for a reasonable period afterward as required by legal and regulatory obligations. For individuals who submit a case review but do not become clients, we retain information for 90 days and then permanently delete it unless you request earlier deletion.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (SSL/TLS), secure document storage systems, access controls limiting employee access to personal data, and regular security assessments. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information (subject to legal requirements), opt out of non-essential communications at any time, and withdraw consent for data processing where consent is the legal basis.
To exercise any of these rights, your request must include sufficient information to verify your identity and be submitted to advocacy@consumerreliefcenter.org.
If you consent to receive communications from us, we may contact you via email and SMS regarding your case status and service updates. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message or clicking "unsubscribe" in any email. Opting out of marketing communications does not affect case-related communications necessary for service delivery.
